How do you change the clutch in a standard transmission.?

I have a 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse and i need to change the clutch, can someone find me a site that can give me step by step directions how to do it?How do you change the clutch in a standard transmission.?
Here is the Free download that you requested for your Mitsubishi Eclipse.

I will also download it and see if you need any special tools.

( e.g. A ''clutch positioning tool'' can be made from a wooden dowel and many layers of duct tape).

Need a ''torque wrench'' to tighten all clutch spring bolts equally to specs.

Drain gear oil. and don't re-use it, add new later.

You may need to raise the car UP high enough ( as with most cars), and lower the gearbox to the ground. And remove One drive shaft, and the tie rod from the steering arm...? Do you have such experience? How do you change the clutch in a standard transmission.?
You are like me... good luck. On a car as old as 1993, be sure to check for an oil leaky seal behind the flywheel%26gt; look for signs of oiliness coming from behind it.

If you've never replaced a clutch in a car before you shouldn't try it. You have to remove the transmission, take out the new clutch and replace it with the new one. If the eclipse you have is awd it will be even harder to do.How do you change the clutch in a standard transmission.?
You're better off buying a repair manual $20.

Either Haynes, or Chiltons. They're both good.
