How to change a clutch?

I need to know of anybody who knows how to change a clutch, well not all of it just the release bearing ????????? will it take long ? do i have to get underneath the car?How to change a clutch?
We need the year make and model of the car or truck to explain how to pull this job off. It does require a lot of %26quot;back time%26quot;. If you have a front wheel drive car hire a private mechanic to do it because it takes a lot of tools and mechanical know-how. If the clutch is slipping right now the throw-out bearing isn't going to do squat! You'll need a pressure plate, clutch disc, machine shop to re-surface flywheel and a pilot bearing. How to change a clutch?
I can tell you had better find a real mechanic. You won't stand a chance.

The transmission has to be removed from the vehicle. You always check the clutch disc and pressure plate and many times the flywheel needs resurfacing at a machine shop.

If the release bearing is noisy, just keep driving. I've never taken a vehicle apart just for a release bearing. How to change a clutch?
Procedure varies depending on the car and whether it is rear or front drive though the following will apply -

The gearbox will have to be taken off the engine from underneath. This may need the removal of some engine mounts.

A good garage would do a simple one in about 2 hours but would take up to 5 hours for some cars (that is experienced people with full garage kit).

You would replace the whole clutch as a kit not just part of it while it was apart.

From your question I believe you will be taking it to the garage. How to change a clutch?
Yes i know, have changed many over the years - but older cars were easy compared to todays front wheel drive ones with a plumbers nightmare under the bonnet. On the mk1 Vauxhall astra 1200 you could change the clutch without removing the gearbox or dismantling anything else. I have often wondered why other manufacturers did not take this idea to heart. How to change a clutch?
If you're asking %26quot;do I have to get under the car%26quot; I think you'd better head to your nearest garage. Also, never change just one component, change the whole assy. No garage worth their salt would give you a warranty without changing the clutch assy. How to change a clutch?
You won't do it lying on your back in the road. It's a gearbox-off job, requiring a ramp and some fairly hefty tools. As already said, if you're determined to have it done then get the lot done at the same time, it'll save you paying another lot of labour in the future. How to change a clutch?
it`s not that easy the gearbox as to come of i would get some one preferably a garage to do it.How to change a clutch?
