1999 Subaru Forrester How long before I need to replace the clutch?

I have 98000 mi already and have a long trip of 1800 miles ahead of me. Should I change the clutch even though it is not slipping. I will be driving in remote areas without cell phone coverage in case of a break down I will be stranded. How long do the clutches usually last? On my old car 14 years ago we replaced it every 80-90000 mi.1999 Subaru Forrester How long before I need to replace the clutch?
If in third gear at 1000RPM you can press the gas petal to the floor and accelerate to 3500RPM without any slipping you are fine.1999 Subaru Forrester How long before I need to replace the clutch?
You must be easy on a clutch. You have a lot of miles on that one. I'd seriously consider replacing it.1999 Subaru Forrester How long before I need to replace the clutch?
If it is not slipping, leave it alone.

My '83 Honda had 135K miles on it, original clutch, no slipping, when I encountered a large buck at 60 mph - insurance company totalled the car. My '95 Neon had over 130K miles, original clutch, no slipping when I sold it.1999 Subaru Forrester How long before I need to replace the clutch?
