Swapping engine it in on my 1995 eclipse gsx..?

My car is a 1995 eclipse gsx.. was completley stock with 123kmiles on body. now im putting in a motor came streight from japan my cousin sent it to me from there, its a 7 bolt it has 10 k miles, i just put in a fidanza flywheel 8lbs and a 2600 act clutch and pressure plate and bought new oem throw out bearing and every thing is bolted on and the tranny is already attatched to the block and every thing is connected, but my worries is the clutch fork.. i just found out that they need to be replaced wen i do a clutch change .... should i be worried? and how much would it be for a shop to doit,??

thank you very muchSwapping engine it in on my 1995 eclipse gsx..?
I never changed a clutch fork- never had problems with one- did numerous clutch replacements for hundreds of thousands of miles. If that's the same transmission, you have nothing to worry about. Maybe you could grease the pivot on the fork, but you'd have to take the tranny off the block to get in there. Leave it alone, it'll be good.Swapping engine it in on my 1995 eclipse gsx..?
im pretty sure it would do okay but then are you gonna be able to get to the clutch fork? if so, and if you wont change it too often, and you get it maybe changed WHEN you have the engine put in (if it aint already in there) then you should be fine.Swapping engine it in on my 1995 eclipse gsx..?
Didn't you ask this already? You should be fine. I've never heard of clutch forks being a problem on DSM's.
