How do you change a yamaha blaster clutch?

I put the clutch back in myself but something was wrong, there was no resistance in the clutch handle and it was very loose. I think it might have been the lifter rod thing, I wasn't sure how the heck that went in. Can someone please explain in EXTREME detail the steps to installing the clutch??How do you change a yamaha blaster clutch?
Well your repair manual shows you in step by step photos and goes into extreme detail just how to take it apart and how to put it back together.

The lifter rod thing usually also has a checkball that all need to go in. Hopefully you did not loose the ball. You will also need a torque wrench for torquing down the bolts on the face of the clutch basket.
