Can anyone tell me if and how to adjust the clutch pedal on a 1993 Grand Am. Thanks?

A few months ago we had to put it all the way to the floor to get it to shift, now after setting a few months it wo'nt release at all. seems like I need to adjust it so it pushes out farther. The clutch etc was changed out less than 5,000 miles ago.Can anyone tell me if and how to adjust the clutch pedal on a 1993 Grand Am. Thanks?
The clutch on a grand-am is a hydraulic clutch so that means it is self adjusting look under the hood for the resevoir and top it up it it needs it.if it's still full then it sounds to me like you have a problem with your clutch may have a leak somewhere on the line..when you put in the new clutch did you just replace the clutch plates or the slave cylinder also..have it checked.. there is no adjustable parts on this type of clutch because it does it all itself..so either the guy put it on wrong or you need to have it looked atCan anyone tell me if and how to adjust the clutch pedal on a 1993 Grand Am. I believe it is a hydraulic clutch. Check to make sure you have fluid in the master reservoir first...if not, fill it, bleed the slave cylinder first, check to find out where it leaked out at.

when no leaks, and the slave is pushing, the adjustment is the rod to the clutch release lever (adjustable rod), if it has one. If none, the clutch itself is worn too badly and will have to be replaced.
